DAVIS Companies has partnered with a leading custom contract manufacturing facility specializing in plastic injection molding. This is a contract Quality Engineer position in a state of the art facility where you will support the quality department in maintaining and improving standards.


  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision to solve practical problems and work effectively with customers and other departments
  • Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality
  • Customize systems to meet quality standards, procedures and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality 
  • Perform internal audits based on audit schedule
  • Investigate and determine cause of quality issues, assist production and other personnel with corrective action process
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely manner; Ability to make decisions with limited information


  • Minimum of 3 years in Quality with a minimum of 1 year in plastic injection Molding
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing processes, blue print reading, and knowledge of scales and other required measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485 & AS9100 standards
  • Basic understanding of Medical and Defense industries and regulatory standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; effective business correspondence and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems


  • Preferred Associates degree in quality or equivalent experience
  • Engineering degree is a plus
