Seeking a Development Project Specialist with strong organizational and administrative experience to support our top client in Norwood, MA.  This is a 6-9+ month contract position.  Drug and background check required.

The Development Project Specialist will support the Development team with tracking, organizing and coordinating project resources to ensure timelines are met. This fast paced position will help solve problems of many sizes and be key in enabling the team to be successful. There will be no shortage of problems to solve or people to support. Finding solutions to urgent tasks or hurdles is what will constitute success.


  • Helping the team be organized to ensure a successful project execution
  • Schedule recurring meetings as well as make recommendations when additional meetings are needed
  • Responsible for setting up resources and ensuring completion
  • Note all meeting actions, responsibilities and resources required, then track how the group is proceeding against the plan
  • Help remove and foresee roadblocks
  • Able to take control and provide direction when needed


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years project management/administrative support experience
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience supporting multiple people/responsibilities in a face paced environment
  • Familiarity with lab environment highly desired
  • Ability to understand the goal and drive to it during chaotic times
  • High organizational skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, able to work with a variety of personality styles
  • Thrive in the face of tight timelines and high levels of stress
  • “Figure out what needs to be done and do it” with minimal supervision
  • Ability to solve problems
