Payroll Tax Analyst

The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for the timely preparation and remittance of payroll tax returns, coupons, amended tax returns and payments for our client base.  The Tax Analyst will assist with case management, responding promptly to client and partner inquires and concerns, and driving effective resolution and client satisfaction.

Job Functions:

• File all quarterly tax returns and electronic media in accordance with agency specific guidelines.
• Prepare and communicate quarterly tax variance and refund information to clients.
• Prepare and file appropriate client tax agency EFT registrations, Federal E-file registrations and reporting agent authorizations. 
• Ensure compliance and accuracy while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax issues related to Federal, State and Local tax compliance.
• Respond and follow up with client and tax agency requests and inquiries in a timely professional manner.
• Reconciliation and entry of new client balances against documentation and preparation of correspondence to assist new clients with transition.
• Research problems and out of balance situations.  Interact with KPS staff and other internal departments, as applicable, to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Manage Salesforce cases in a timely manner, addressing any concerns and maintaining effective communication with clients and partners.
• Maintain proactive relationship with taxing authorities.
