Description

Micro Soldering Technician
We are currently seeking a Soldering Technician for our client in the Greater Atlanta area.  

This is a 1st shift, full time and temp to hire opportunity. From Monday -Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with OT when needed. Pay rate is $17.00/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose boards and other components to determine root cause of failure and in order to make board repairs.
  • Make repairs to small pitch boards used on LED displays.
  • Record accurate repair data into company’s data base.
  • Disposition repaired and unrepairable material in accordance with standard operating procedures or direct guidance from originator of material in need of repair.
  • Responsible for maintaining an organized work area by returning all tools, and assembly items to their dedicated location at the end of each shift.
  • Account for all material received, processed and dispositioned.

Requirements

  • Great manual dexterity, detail oriented, hand-eye coordination
  • Use microscope and soldering equipment to add/remove small components on printed circuit boards, soldering of wires, and PCB repair.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and purpose.
