Inventory Analyst

Our client in Suwanee, Ga has an immediate opening for an Inventory Analyst. They are looking for someone with great attention to detail and someone who takes pride in their work.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and full time.
Monday - Thursdays from 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM with available OT.
Pay rate is $24.00/hr.

  • Oversee the following inventory control activities, cycle counts, location audits, transfers, adjustments, scrap, A,B,C management, obsolescence and reporting.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory including transfers, cycle counts and adjustments.
  • Tracks rates of cycle count accuracy.
  • Develops, improves and monitors procedures and processes to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Demonstrates expertise in the area of inventory control activities.
  • Familiar with inventory control setup and transactions within an ERP system.
  • Proficient with Deltek “Costpoint ERP system” preferred but not required. 
  • Familiar with project-based inventory management preferred but not required.
  • Physical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl repeatedly.
  • Able to solve complex problems; makes decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers and other standard office technology and software.

Education & Experience
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business operations or related field and/or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience
