Description

We are currently seeking a Production Assembly Support who will assist the Lamination Operators for our client in the Greater Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with others and provide support to the lamination operator on tasks needed prior to assembly.  

Temp to hire and full time opportunity. Pay rate is $15-16 depending on experience. Hours are from Monday-Fridays, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Building of wire harnesses, cables and connectors.
  • Preparation and cutting of materials to be used in lamination process.
  • Protective covering (taping) of painted metal surfaces.
  • Installation of handles, screws and other hardware.
  • Cleaning glass, touchscreens and other surfaces.
  • Paint application to bezel surfaces.

Requirements

  • Ability to work well with others and support the needs of others in a production environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds as requested to aid others in production.
  • Previous experience in a clean room environment helpful 
  • Previous experience working with bonding and/or lamination of filters, LCDs and touchscreens helpful 
  • Soldering certification IPS-610 or J-STD (current) is helpful.
  • Ability to build wire harnesses, cables and connectors using various crimping tools and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and be trainable to learn new production processes and follow those processes according to company documentation.
