We are currently hiring for a 1st shift Electrical Panel Wirer to join our advanced manufacturing company!

Summary:

The electrical panel builder is responsible for assembling and installing industrial control panels for automated equipment. Will be reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams and must be able to recognize components. Will be required to cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical units within the panel box. Identifies and corrects malfunctioning installation and/or components using test equipment and hand tools. Ensures continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure safety of system. Control Panel builders will be working with high and low voltage electricity components and electrical wiring components.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to recognize and understand electrical symbols
• Have knowledge of the NFPA and UL 508A standard
• Some previous experience with electrical wiring, preferably in a control panel shop
• Must have the ability to use hand tools, power tools and other related electrical equipment
• Ability to work quickly, while always utilizing safe work practices
• Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time
• Reliability a must
• Must be able to work alone with very little guidance
