Description

Electrical Assembly Technician - Norcross, GA (Contract to Perm)

Pay Rate: Up to $18 PH DOE

Hours: Mon-Fri / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

Location: Norcross, GA

As an Electrical Assembly Technician you will assemble, integrate and test commercial and military communication products. This will include conducting communication equipment characterization measurements including: axial ratio, gain, G/T, isolation, performance of temperature, phase matching, polarization, RF power handling, radiation patterns, and return loss/VSWR. There will be the occasional opportunity to travel to customer sites for installation, testing, and/or troubleshooting (Travel will not occur until Permanent Employee status begins).

Responsibilities

-Read wire diagrams & schematics 

-Use of an O-Scope for testing heads/connectors/tests is required 

-Be able to use lab RF and Communication testing equipment: scalar and network analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and digital multi-meters

-Be able to solder items like wiring and RF cables

-Working with 480V 

-Work in a team environment

Requirements 

-Manufacturing background

-US citizenship is required

-Experience and training as an Electrical Engineering Technician, RF Technician, Electrical Technician, or Bench Technician is a big plus.
