Description

The DAVIS Companies is seeking a Control Panel Point-to-Point Wirer for a 1st shift opportunity in the NW Metro. 

Responsabilities: 

  • Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
  • Wire various control panel products in preparation for test and final inspection
  • Cut, strip, crimp and wire 26 AWG – 12 AWG per “to-from” documentation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Perform High Voltage wiring as needed (14 AWG – 2 AWG normally, 1/0 – 300 MCM occasionally)

Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to use “torque” tools
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics / diagrams preferred
  • Proficiency using hand and power tools in a safe manner
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools

Physical Requirements: 

  • Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire)
