CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer Level 2

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer in the Greater Gwinnett County Area. The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup, operation, and programming of three Haas CNC Machines. The CNC Machinist will be running 2 CNC Mills and 1 CNC Lathe, the products beings machined are made of aluminum. MasterCAM programming is a must along with 5+ years of machining experience in both milling and turning

This position is 1st shift and the pay ranges from $18-$25/hour depending on experience.



  • Programming Haas CNC Mills and Lathes using MasterCAM
  • Use computer systems to find location of parts.
  • Assist with department organization relating to processing orders, directing people, answering technical questions with orders; ensure daily orders are completed by the end of day.
  • Assists department associates to maintain department and company standards by addressing situations with associates as they are discovered.
  • Identify different material types, sizes.
  • Program CNC machines using either machine code or CADCAM program such as Master Cam (preferred)
  • Develop machine code programs from 3D Solid Models (Solid Works preferred) both manually or using CADCAM software.
  • Develop fixturing as required to manufacture parts in machines.
  • Load tooling in correct sequence into machine tool holders
  • Determine, maintain and order tooling to produce machine parts.
  • Utilizes a variety of tools.
  • Any other duties as assigned.


  • Extensive experience programming CNC Mill and Lathe using MasterCAM
  • Experience with the Set Up and Operation of CNC Mills and Lathes
  • Experience with MasterCAM x8 or newer and at least 3-4 years of programming experience.
  • CNC Machinist Mill at least 3 years (Programming and Setup)
  • CNC Lathe at least 1years  (Programming and Setup)
  • Must be able to read Blue Prints
  • Must be able to make tool changes
