Bench Service Technician

We are currently seeking a Bench Service Technician in the Alpharetta Area. The Bench Service Technician is responsible for the assessment, repair and troubleshooting of equipment for financial institutions. This position requires acute attention to detail, the ability to learn multiple equipment systems and fine motor skills.

This position pays $15-$16 an hour and is a temp to perm opportunity on 1st shift from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Requirements of the Bench Service Technician

  • Evaluate and detect malfunctions of small peripherals, printers, scanners and cash counters.
  • Trouble shoots same to component level specifications.
  • Repair and of small peripherals, printers, scanners and cash counters.
  • Part replacement of small peripherals, printers, scanners and cash counters.
  • Testing of small peripherals, printers, scanners and cash counters to ensure proper working of the same.

Responsibilities of the Bench Service Technician

  • 1 – 2 years of prior small equipment repair experience.
  • Organized, detail oriented and excellent ability to follow specific directions.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment efficiently and professionally.
  • Possess fine motor skills to work with small parts and grip a variety of hand tools.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and company policies.
  • Effectively manage time and meet all deadlines.
  • Complete all task as assigned by the supervising authority in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to lift 1 - 25lbs to table height.
