We are seeking an Assembler with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work on and understand complex test equipment and micro-robotic instrumentation with an interest in challenging new technologies.

This is a 1st shift position working at an advanced micro-electronics manufacturer in Billerica, MA!!

Responsibilities:
•    Run and evaluate equipment standards
•    Utilize microscope systems to pick and place small components
•    Work with joystick placement equipment 
•    Perform daily machine checks
•    Work with multiple products
•    Identify basic machine-related accuracy or performance issues
•    Follow production procedures
•    Maintain a clean work area
•    Perform minor repairs as needed
 
Requirements:
•    High school diploma or equivalent; a candidate with a technical degree is a plus
•    Understanding of production procedures
•    Demonstrated ability to work with multiple products and processes
•    Experience with optical components and alignment is a plus
•    Experience working with small components
•    Strong manufacturing background
•    Experience working with complex processes
•    Capability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and for extended duration
•    Experience working with mechanical devices
•    Ability to work independently
•    Microsoft Office skills
•    Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
