Description

Our client in Worcester, Ma is looking for an HR Admin to join their team. This role contains 80% HR and 20% Safety/Data Entry

 

HR Related duties:

  • Clearly communicate and interact with employees and external customers, vendors, applicants, etc.
  • Process all incoming personnel transactions per established procedures including verifying completeness of documents, updating computer records and personnel folder.
  • Assist in administration of the COBRA program (i.e. draft and mail required communications, receive payments and provide receipts).
  • Run reports and prepare various statistical summaries and reports within our ERP system (COINS)
  • Maintain personnel files with a high degree of organization (both hardcopy and electronic files) and within Company guidelines.
  • Provide support to HR Business Partners w/general administrative tasks (faxing, filing, research data, etc.)
  • Open, sort, and distribute both Safety and HR department mail daily.
  • Coordinate and process general administrative work (Create orientation packets, paycheck stuffers, copies)
  • Assist and support HR Business Partners during New Hire Orientation sessions.
  • Compile and deliver Monthly Performance Review notices, process completed performance reviews through to salary changes. 
  • Maintain I-9 records and audit monthly.
  • Complete e-verify and DOR reporting requirements, as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Safety Related duties:

  • Assist in tracking and maintaining Safety Points program. 
  • Coordinate and schedule required MVR, PHYS/PFT, and DOT Drug Tests
  • Create Purchase Orders utilizing ERP system
  • Provide data for Pre-Qualification requirements
  • Prepare invoices for payment in coordination with Accounts Payable
  • Prepare and Administer Tool Box Talks
  • Administer Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) reimbursement program including Prescription Eyewear Program
  • Run reports and prepare various statistical summaries and reports within our ERP system (COINS)
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience; 2-4 years' experience in administrative position or a relevant combination of education and experience; previous HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year administrative experience
