Description:

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Support Specialist for one of our largest clients in Buford, GA. The purpose of this job is to provide administrative support to the customer service department.  This position may include any or all of the following, to be performed alone, or with assistance from other Customer Service Reps.

This position starts at $13.50 an hour and is contract to hire. This is a full time position with hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Update spreadsheet of orders to be placed with vendors (ASW)
  • Efficient processing and resolution of orders placed with vendors
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all open orders placed with vendors
  • E-file vendor confirmations from 2 entry systems (ASW & EPIC).
  • Scan and format shipping documentation from the warehouse
  • E-file and send shipping confirmations to customers
  • Effectively assist in one-on-one training of other staff members.        
  • Assist with administrative duties related to job functions.        
  • Assist with annual inventory, if needed.    
  • Maintain an excellent attendance/tardiness record.        
  • Properly maintain company logs, equipment, files and other property assigned for use.    
  • Work on special projects.
  • Read, apply and file for reference any new materials or product information introduced.    
  • Attend regularly scheduled product knowledge training.    

Qualifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • 3 or more years in a customer service role
  • Solid knowledge of ASW, or demonstrated ability to learn proprietary software systems
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs
  • Basic ability to read, write and understand English
  • Must have solid organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
