Financial Analyst
Westford, MA

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for Division directed tasks that support three manufacturing facilities in the US and Mexico.  The role will be located in our Westford, MA facility and will perform internal audits, cost accounting analysis, tariff tracking and recovery, and general accounting support.  This role will also assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and other areas as needed.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Conduct internal price audits
•Conduct internal audits in shipping and receiving, fixed assets and Company benefit plans
•Support the compilation, testing and invoicing of Tariff pass-through expenses
•Analyze inventory costing, margins and variances
•Recording, tracking and recognition of project related expenses and billings
•Position will be cross trained in Accounts Payable and will support as necessary
•Perform ad-hoc analysis
•Provide support to external departments
•Conduct meetings to communicate findings, exceptions, and status updates 
•Effectively document and communicate the results of your efforts 
•Work closely with vendors, customers and all levels of Mack personnel 
•Ensure timely completion of projects
•Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
•High level of proficiency in Excel with ability to use advanced formulas
•Excellent written and oral communication skills  
•Ability to think strategically
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Ability to work independently
•Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
•Excellent documentation skills
