When is my timecard due?
On a weekly basis, your timecard should be submitted by Monday at noon following your work week. Call in hours will not be accepted. If, for some reason, you are unable to submit your timecard by the deadline, please contact your DAVIS Representative to make arrangements to ensure you receive your paycheck for the previous workweek.
How do I submit my timecard?
Davis timecards can be found under the current employee section of the website. Please provide your hours worked on the card, have your manager approve your hours by signing the card and fax it to your local office by noon on Monday. Please note that some of our clients utilize alternative forms of timecard submission including punch clocks, swipe card systems and on-line time entry. Check with your recruiter regarding which time system you’ll be using on your assignment.

Does DAVIS offer direct deposit?
Yes, Davis offers direct deposit with the option of one or two bank accounts. With direct deposit you can accessyour pay stubs electroniccally thru our I-pay system. Get your pay stub electronically at any time on any computer, anywhere.
How do I get my paycheck and when?
DAVIS offers several options to receive your check:
(1) The fastest way to get paid is to enroll in Direct Deposit and have your check electronically deposited into your account. Then you can access your check information electronically through I-Pay at any time on any computer.
(2) Have your check mailed to your home address.
(3) Pick up your paycheck from your local Davis Companies office on Friday at any time.

What kind of benefits do your temporary employees receive?

Do I need to call to make myself available for another assignment after my current assignment ends?
Yes, you should call DAVIS as soon as you know that your assignment is ending. DAVIS recruiters will be happy to assist you in finding new employment.
What do I do if I am sick or unable to report to work?
If you are going to be out for any reason, it is necessary that you notify: (1) your DAVIS representative and (2) your work supervisor immediately, with as much advanced notice as possible.
What if I get injured on the job?
It is your responsibility to report all accidents that result in personal injury and/or property damage. Incidents that do not result in injury or property damage (“close calls”) must also be reported in order to prevent future, more serious accidents. All injuries must be reported immediately to the appropriate supervisor and to the DAVIS Companies.
How do I file for unemployment?
Each state has a different system for filing for unemployment. Check with your local Department of Labor website or local facility for specific information on the regulations in your state. Your recruiter will be able to point you in the right direction if need be.
